  The Planet Saver labels have arrived! The 'Get one in May' Rewards have been distributed! Phew just two weeks since finishing the campaign and the first KimiKits are on their way to save the planet :-) The first batch of KimiKits ready for packaging

The KimiKit collection is a range of sustainably crafted kits of essential sewing accessories from the PLANETSAVERS range. But what makes them planet savers? In times gone by, when cloth was valued, reusing, repairing and remaking were long-standing practices to make the most of valuable resources.  Clothing was precious and even inherited, clothing items were repaired and remade, then “once the 'life' of the original garment had been exhausted/worn out” (Fraser 2018, p.225), sections of precious fabrics were lovingly salvaged within patchwork quilts. WOW it's Day 4 and we've reached our target!! Thanks to all my supporters and the wonderful backers - we reached the target this morning so we're all GO now and everything from here is a wonderful bonus!
